Motivational meeting was held on the December 29th, 2015 as a part of the "Civil society for accountable governance" Project which is being implemented in the partnership with Center for peace, non-violance and human rights Osijek as a Main partner, and Informative Legal Center Slavonski Brod, Dutch partners – PAX and the Hague Academy for Local Governance.
One of the purposes of the project is to strenghten the capacities of local civil society organizations to monitor, analyse and report on the good governance and anti-discriminatory policies. With that aim, SDF has held a motivational meeting with the representatives of the Association of the Blind persons Pakrac-Lipik, Women's Club Pakrac and Serbian Cultural Association "Prosvjeta" Pakrac-Lipik that are actively involved in the project implementation.
Each of the afore mentioned organizations is responsible for the monitoring of the specific AD and GG policies. Namely, Association of the Blind persons Pakrac-Lipik monitors the stereotypes related to the persons with disabilities, Women's club Pakrac monitors the implemnetation of the housing care program of the women – victims of the family violance, while SCA "Prosvjeta" monitors employment of the national minority members at the state-owned companies.
The Project is being implemented thanks to the financial support of the European Union – IPA 2011 Programme "Reinforcing Support of CSOs` in Enhancing Transparency and Good Governance in Croatian Public Administration".PDF
